지각대장 진규는 오늘도 학교에 늦었습니다. 서둘러 달리다가 그만 마주 오던 아주머니와 부딪칩니다. 아주머니가 들고 있던 봉지를 놓칩니다. 귤이 와르르 쏟아집니다. 지각할 것 같아서 다급한 마음이지만 진규는 냉큼 귤을 줍습니다. 아주머니께 공손하게 인사를 하고, 다시 학교로 달립니다. 그런데 얼마나 뛰었을까요. 갑자기 뒤에서 누군가 진규를 낚아챕니다. 아주머니 옆에 서 있던 여자아이가 활짝 웃으며 진규에게 귤 하나를 내밉니다. 진규는 쭈뼛거리며 귤을 받아든 뒤 다시 뜁니다. 그리고 시간이 좀 지난 뒤, 진규는 그 여자아이를 또 만납니다. “오늘 우리 반에 새로운 친구가 전학을 왔어요.” 티나, 여자아이의 이름은 티나라고 했습니다. 모습이 조금 남다른 티나는 밝고 기운찹니다. 모두가 지각대장이라고 놀리는 진규에게 다가와 두 손을 맞잡습니다. 또 만났다며 반갑게 아는 체를 합니다. 티나의 해맑은 미소를 보는 진규의 가슴이 콩콩 뛰기 시작했습니다.

The late leader, Jin-gyu, is late for school again today. He runs in a hurry and bumps into the oncoming lady. He misses the bag the lady is holding. Tangerines are pouring down. He feels urgent because he might be late, but Jin-gyu picks up the tangerine right away. He greets the lady politely and runs back to school. But how much did she run? Suddenly, someone snatches Jin-gyu from behind with a big smile. A girl standing next to the lady gives him a tangerine. Jin-gyu hesitates to pick up the tangerine and runs again. And after a while, he meets the girl again. "A new friend has transferred to our class today." Tina, the girl's name is Tina. She is bright and energetic. Everyone approaches Jin-gyu, who is making fun of her as the late leader, and holds his hands together. He acts as if he met her again. Seeing Jin-gyu's bright smile, Jin-gyu's heart began to beat fast.
